Emma McFarline is an award-winning jeweller from Northern Ireland who graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2011. She has been featured in publications such as British Vogue, The Resident and 'Jewelbook - International Annual of Contemporary Jewel Art'.
In her jewellery Emma repositions public street artworks in the context of contemporary jewellery by transferring abstracted details of her photography of graffiti onto enamelled steel and then framing the images in silver settings. The pieces create intrigue and arouse curiosity as you recognise the shapes and colourful marks outlining a dancing figure, letters or animal creating wearable mini-artworks.
